Motor Insurance is generally categorised into the following categories:

• PRIVATE CARS (which can be divided into i. Individual Registered; and ii. Company Registered)

• ALL OTHER VEHICLES (including Commercial Vehicles and Motorcycle)

• MOTOR TRADE (Vehicle Trade Plate)

• HIRE CARS (Car-For-Rent vehicles)

All Motor Insurance policies are subjected to a 5% Service Tax with the following exception:

1. Individual Registered Motor Vehicles.

2. All Motor Vehicles registered to companies located in Free Trade Zone, namely Langkawi and Labuan.
