MAA Assurance has been appointed by the Ministry of Human Resources to exclusively administer the Insurance Scheme to provide coverage for employment accidents to foreign workers as provided under Section 26(2) of the Workmen's Compensation Act 1952. Whereas Koo Agency is the authorised agency of MAA Assurance to provide this insurance scheme direct to employers.

All employers are therefore required by the Act to insure all their foreign workers under the Insurance Scheme known as "FOREIGN WORKERS COMPENSATION SCHEME" (FWCS) with MAA Assurance.

The FWCS also provides coverage for Repatriation Expenses and Personal Accident outside working hours.
